Cole slaw

Chopped cabbage, tomatillos, green onions, jalapeño, cilantro, and lime juice. Salt the cabbage pretty heavy and get what moisture you can out of it first. Best coleslaw ever.
just because you added cabbage to that doesnt make it coleslaw. That sounds like picode Gallo with cabbage.

Cabbage, carrots, mayonnaise, vinegar, sugar, salt, black pepper, celery seed.
Adjust to your taste.

Exactly. Those are The only ingredients that slaw should have! I'll let onion slide even though I don't particularly like onion in my slaw unless it's on a burger or dog. But all other variations designed by yankees and should be called coleslaw*

And it's awesome, goes great with smoked pork. You can keep that puréed mayo and sugar filled crap.
I like my slaw grated not pureed or chopped.

I'm not saying I wouldn't eat it.... I just don't consider that slaw#

This is the recipe I have used for years...

8 cups finely diced cabbage (about 1 head)
1/4 cup finely diced carrot
2 Tablespoons minced onions
1/3 cup granulated sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1/4 cup milk
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup buttermilk
1 1/2 Tablespoons white vinegar
2 1/2 Tablespoons lemon juice
1 Jalapeno minced (optional)

1.Finely dice the cabbage and the carrots.
2.Pour the cabbage and the carrot mixture into a large bowl and stir in the minced onions and jalapeno.
3.In the food processor, using a regular blade, process the remaining ingredients together until smooth.
4.Pour over the cabbage and carrot mixture and mix thoroughly.
5.Cover the bowl and refrigerate for several hours or overnight before serving.
