Beautiful pair you have there sir! I need those in my collection. I have the elephant ivory too which is more of a solid color like those and yours look great on nickel and high polished stainless. Thank you for sharing the beautiful picture.

Thank you much BUT,,, that is one that someone has listed in classifieds right now. I have the same 586-5 but mine is a plus. The ivory is faux from altamont and I thought it looked so good I tried to order some but they don't have any.

I like the combats or stag on stainless over ivory. Nice to have a choice. Love Ivory on a nickel 1911

And speaking of grips, I ran into this set of grips that came on a 19 I got many eons ago and had forgot about. They are shorty's and someone told me they were very rare factory S&W's but they have this writing on the back. Anyone know about these??
