It's got all the wear you would expect in a duty gun, but mechanically it's very solid. I don't care much about the real wear anyway because I'm going to carry it around the homestead anyway and this gun is at home in a holster.

First time owning one, but picked up a very nice circa 1977 Ruger Police Service Six in a trade, and I really like it! Grips are not factory, but they sure are nice!

Okay I had to do something cause our forum was on page 7. Never seen that in all these years. Help Me Out Here. Wanted to get you guys take. I have sort of always been taught that a 27 is the most collectible of our beloved wheelies. I sort of go back and forth on this because there is something about holding the power of a 44 magnum in my hand that makes me lean toward the 29's at times. So what do you guys think and why?
