Classic wheel gun porn....

Here is my 8” nickel Python from the first year introduced and has no turn line. Looking at different grip options from the original combat Colt checkered wood grips. Starting at the left I have genuine elephant ivory, Mother of Pearl, and giraffe bone. Also found some aged Sambar stags stashed away. They may all be too small to be practical for shooting with such a long barrel but sure look nice.

Decisions, decisions.......I'd like to see what it looks like with the original wood grips. The stags look good, but all those grips seem a little small. My favorites for that gun are the Pachmayr Colt emblems you used to could get
 
I always like the Colt emblems on the grips. Adds a touch of class
I have a custom exotic grip maker on retainer. He can always add Colt medallions if requested. I am going to add medallions to the stags but probably going back to the larger Colt wood grips on this one as it came from the factory since it is NIB.
