Castle nut

I may have been misinformed by a certain YouTuber about buffer tube and castle installation involving loktite from my understanding it’s not catastrophic but a no no

Picked up a Bren 2. Guy had epoxied the receiver extension into the end cap. Oh - what fun I had.

Why not a little? I normally put a little vibra tite on mine.

A simple stake will do!

To clarify it was the castle nut to the top of the buffer it was threaded into the lower with the plate blocking the internal threads of the lower

You can run it. Lots of heat needed to soften it to get it off. Got to look for the puff of smoke.
I hope it is on tight.

You can use vibra tite or blue locktite all day long. If you used red locktite then that sucker is gonna be a permanent fixture. Heat gun and a good wrench will break it free though.
