Car/Truck A/c Machine questions

Lets say you were given an A/c machine made by robinair. Machine needs a high side pressure guage and says it has 19lbs of freon inside it with no external tank attached. 1. do you need any sort of license to sell that sort of equipment? 2. How much would you pay for the machine if it needed work? (High side pressure guage, not sure if vaccumm pump works, storage tank needs to be drained) Weird situation huh? Lol.

Speaking from experience, the cost to repair that macine could FAR out weigh the value of it. The best thing to do is keep it for parts. But depending on the age and model number it may only be scrap. No you don't need a license to sell the equipment. As far as value it depends on the vacuum pump because that is your only real value to that machine.

I can't tell if it works until I can get the internal storage tank drained, says to much pressure exists.

It's not worth much of anything unless you can fire it up.
If you don't know what kind of freon is in it, just dispose of it properly.

Its grey, Robinair, model # 34788. Full of R-134a, That I know for sure.
