On some models, the stud wont clear the hub to get the old one out and get the new one in. Take an angle grinder and cut off the old one and then knock it out. The cut off one side of the flange on the new one so it clears the hub when inserted in the hole .Change the hub assembly. It shouldn't be that hard
My local shop charges 15.00 to replace it. I can be in and out in a hour vs. looking for the stupid 10mm socket to is never where I put it last.

Support your local repair shop and mechanic if you can't do it yourself. They will work hard for your money. And you better treat them right.
