Braised short ribs....

Super rich complex flavors, one rib was plenty. The mash was great (I don't eat much 'taters no more) and the roll was delicious for sopping up that good beef grease, LOL. Costs about $5.00 per serving, a bargain in my "poors cookbook book."

I cook my short ribs in the crockpot with a little red wine. Fall off the bone tender and great over mashed taters. Usually serve with oven-roasted brussels sprouts.
I had asparagus but was so excited to eat some mashed potatoes I completely forgot to cook it, LOL!
