This was the start of the last batch

Got three #s of brisket chopped and ready for the chili tonight. Adobo sauce, onions, garlic, jalapenos and bell peppers and a couple of cups of stock are all the ingredients besides seasoning and spices. NO BEANS!

irrelevant as are most things from Texas. I'm certainly not going to take food advice from a region that considers Brisket to be the pinnacle of Barbeque and spells it BBQ.

Real Chile is spelled with an "E" and comes in Red or Green.

It does sort of. As the smoked brisket continues to simmer, it'll fall apart into little shreds.
