Coconut oil will last for 10 +/1 years and is an extremely stable substance. I use it for a variety of things, good stuff.

yeah I don't know what the shelf life is on tollhouse chocolate chips, but it would probably be worth a little e-coli if it came down to it

I don't think "shelf life" and "chocolate chips" can be used in the same sentence. Not in my house anyway...
