Any recommendations for an honest, reasonable priced mechanic in Wooststock? Help Needed!

GM pumps fail so often that t he parts store near me keeps em sitting on the counter
It's a typical defective design in an American car

If you run it out of gas it will fry the new one too

And most new ones now come with a lifetime warranty. I need to go by potenza's shop and check em out. Maybe they are good at injectors on 7.3s..

I've gotten over 200,000 miles on 3 different GM trucks with the original fuel pumps. What makes them defective?

I can think of three possibilities:
1) poor quality low grade gasoline
2) lack of maintenance, never changing fuel filters at recommended intervals
3) Ignorance

Order your new pump on ebay motors. Make sure you get a recognizable brand name like Delphi. But you can usually find fuel pumps on there for about a third of what the parts store charge.

Sorry! , I stay away from the diesel injectors. There is a shop in Emerson , don't know anything about it, but it say diesel specialist
