Any RC plane people here?

I had a friend that flew when I was stationed in Colorado. He was into it BIG time, mucho bucks! He had a jet, thing was bad ass man!

There was/is a RC "airstrip" in Jersey, Ga that the "Friendly Fliers" club used (between Loganville & Social Circle) back when I had a house out there. Some pretty cool planes out on Sunday afternoons, don't know if they still exist but they used to have a pretty good group. Never participated but used to stop in after range time on Sundays and watch for an hour or so.

There's an RC club and strip on Old Federal Rd near Ball Ground. Stopped by to watch and those guys have a lot of fun. They even brought some choppers to River Bend Gun Club for a kids day and let everyone shoot paintballs at them.

I picked up a simulator for the computer, but I don't have good control. I might get a cheap plane if I can figure out the remote.

just throttle/rudder is easy t OK grasp its when you add pitch/cyclic to the mix is when it gets confusing

Nice piloting job. Where was that shot? It looks like Galveston, with the sea wall, short jetties and brown water. I lived there for 8 years. Brings back good memories.
