PRVI is fine to shoot. Put Rob's kit in and use the smallest gas port (should come installed that way in the piston).

Berdan brass is a PITA to reload so I avoid it unless it's the only option. I do save my brass with primers intact from pulled down surplus since it's good for 'leave behind' or 'rainy day' use.

The aftermarket magazine doesn't bother me too much for the price.

Very cool indeed. You can get a 12" (+/-) cleaning rod and a sight hood (repro) and you'd be good to go. Of course, you don't need those. Good luck with the shooter's kit. Mine works great and I am very happy with it.
