Am I measuring this correctly?

In all seriousness though, what were you shooting and how far away were you really? That's a pretty tight group.

Factory Tikka T1x barrel - .22lr - KRG Bravo Chassis - Vortex Strike Eagle 5-25 x 56 - Harris Bi-pod, from a bench - shooting Lapua Center-X and Eley Match - that group specifically was Lapua @ 50 yards

I'm a newbie, trying to get my technique dialed in.

So just so I think I know what I am talking about...if 1 MOA is 1.047" at 100 yards and I was shooting at 50 yards...I would take 1.047 and divide by 2 = .5235 is considered 1 MOA at 50 yards?

Then I would take my 5 shot grouping of .6815 and subtract by .22 to get: 0.4615...

Thus, that particular group at 50 yards was slightly under 1 MOA?

No idea how all that math is supposed to work out. However, I do know that if it were my group, I'd be pretty proud of it.

exactly

Nice...so that degree from UGA wasn't useless after all...lol

I hate math...but I enjoy learning...so it's a double edge sword with this whole shooting for groups deal. My OCD however, enjoys competing against myself and tracking information...so I guess I'll just have to deal with all the math :)
