Also, that’s a perishable skill. I’ve done so many medical and trauma classes and I’m still uncomfortable doing it. I feel like I need another 40 hour combat lifesaver course. No joke.

Skin staplers. I cut my hand cutting up a chicken & didn't want to run get stitches. I pulled out the skin staplers & popped 5 in. No anesthesia, it really didn't hurt much

I highly advise for everyone to have a IFAK and medical supplies in close proximity. Either in your vehicle and home or like me I keep in both.

Vehicle or home isn't enough, you need to carry medical ON YOUR BODY. Whether that's an ankle kit, cargo pocket, or just a TQ in your pants pocket, there's no time to go looking for medical when you need to be using it.
