I don't have the time to read the rest of the posts right now, but the biggest difference is that people who want a free phone or free healthcare think it should be legislated so that others are forced to pay for it, whereas somebody asking for a free place to shoot is giving you the OPTION of providing it if it is CONVENIENT FOR YOU. Nobody is saying "Hey let's force people to pay for us to have a place to shoot"
