just out of curiosity, why the 44 special brass vs. magnum? are you looking for hot loads or subsonic loads?
the reason I ask is if you are looking for subsonic 44 special loads, then look around on silencertalk for load info:

there's lots of info there on subsonic 44 loads. pretty easy if you stick with heavier bullets. lots of guys with integral 44 77/44 rifles on there. I have a 96/44 that I want to get threaded eventually and use a 45 can on it (subsonic only). my plan was to load heavy (300+gr) bullets in either mag or spec brass and have some fun...
if you are just looking for hot loads for a rifle or pistol that only accepts 44 special ammo, then you are barking up the wrong tree, it's a good way to blow something up.
