Dang, might be time to get a can now. My father in law waited almost a year on his. Bought in mid 2022 and got it in mid 2023 or so.
Not true. I have TSA clearance and I have an eform 1 waiting since 5/9/23 and an eform 4 since 5/5/23.
Just had one back in 6 days and another in 13 days. Different FFLs. One used Silencer shops get up. The other used Efile and mailed the prints in.
All my old paper ones took just under a year. Past Efile submissions through SS took right at 6 months.

Local court house. You have to bring the blank fingerprint cards tho. Most Class 3 FFLs should have some cards for you to take. If not you can order them FOR FREE from the official government fbi maybe? Website. My last set came from that website but I cannot remember which 3 letter agency it was from.
When I filed my Paper form 4 with Stoddards, they did the fingerprints as part of the process for free. The guy that does them is pretty cool.
