.38/.357 bullet question

I started looking at Ranier last month when MidwayUSA had them on sale. Now, they are sold out with no backorder on these. I have looked at Berry's as well. Still trying to decide plated or lead...

I believe i will try some in 9mm as well. bullet length is very close to other 9mm fmj's i have.

Haven't used the rainiers but did pick up some of these Hunters supply hardcast 158 gr (now out of stock). Load well, am interested in how well they perform
anyone used thes?

Some indoor ranges don't allow exposed lead.

Otherwise, I'd go with the hard cast or buy FMJ's in bulk. They're out there for less than the plated stuff.

I actually prefer cast for my target pistols, but I use FMJ's in my poly barreled defensive pistols.

Places like Precision Delta & Zero offer great values in jacketed stuff.

I have used rainier bullets .45 and .44 caliber with no problems. Just be sure you check the o.a.l. recomended by the data you are using.
