dealership send a notice about oil pump belt!
suggest belt change at 100,000!
to the tune of six grand for labor!
amazing
3 day job!
transmission must come out!
i guess i will start stretching this butt hole !

Talk to a diesel engine mechanic before buying a diesel truck from Ford, Dodge or Chevrolet.

You’ll be surprised at how many diesel techs want to kill the engineers that built the dramamax..

We had a guy damage a transmission line. We found you have to dismantle the front of the truck to get to it. My surprise biggest surprise was all you will have to remove to simply get to the drive belt.
I guess I’m old. I remember keeping the old belt when you got a new one just in case your needed to change it. To change a belt required a rachet/pullbar and could be done in five mins.
