.22 handgun red dot's...any advice?

burris fastfire or leupold delta sight

Thx, those are not cheap! Do you really get any additional advantage with these over a lower cost brand?

They're parallax free. Most of the cheap ones aren't. I'll still buy a cheap one just for plinking. If it's for competition shooting or just for showing off I might spring the extra cash for one of the more expensive brands like Burris, Leupold, or Trijicon.

I bought an ATI - ATIRDS from PSA when they had marked them down ..
Has the same form factor as the Burris II / III ... with a bit larger Red Dot.
I have it on a Ruger 22 / 45 and it's a good fit and works well there.

Pros: Good Enough for Plinking, Inexpensive (if you can get it on sale!)

Cons: The base that was included for use with Pictanny Rails is a LARGE Clump of Iron.
Not Parallax free until you reach 50 yards (kind of long for a Pistol)
I prefer manual ON/OFF as well as adjustment of dot / brightness (this one is totally automatic)

CDNN sells some mounts that MAY be applicable to this product, but I'm not certain that I will try one.
