Have a 2000 dodge 1500 truck, motor just stops running, usually at low speeds or parked, like you turned the ignition off, usually starts right back up , new coil and replaced fuel pump about 3 years ago, any thoughts?

look at the speedo and if the milage is flashing no comm code ,you have lost 5v sensor loop..could be an open sensor or the ECM is toast....this happened to me in two dodge trucks of the same year..check the ECM wire connections and perform voltage test at all sensors starting with the throttle position.. key on and should read 0 volts and 5 v WOT..trans sensor speed sensor...or could be the crank position sender located on the back on the flange between the bell housing and the engine on the passenger side. also check the oil pressure switch if it doesn't sense oil pressure in a given amount of time (30-60) seconds it will disable the fuel pumpHave a 2000 dodge 1500 truck, motor just stops running, usually at low speeds or parked, like you turned the ignition off, usually starts right back up , new coil and replaced fuel pump about 3 years ago, any thoughts?
it wont throw a code at the check engine lite if its a ECM com problem...look at the milage if its flashing or no there or says no comm...ECM or bad sensorNo codes
