1967 gto

Hang in there on your GTO get all of the driving/handling things complete, then the tuneup perfected to where it will crank with no problem and cruise around town in the heat like we have been having without pushing water out or over heating.
When all of that has been perfected and if you like go fast stuff then start planning on cam, intake and carburetion and maybe heads or headwork.
Good looking car and good luck.

Purchased a 1967 GTO and want to start working on it some. I have been a 67-72 Chevy truck guy for about 10 years and decided to bite the bullet. Anyone familiar know of some good parts places online? Maybe some catalogs I can order. With my truck I had a few free catalogs I kept for reference. Of course I cant bring this up without a picture:) Thanks!

Nice. Bet she will be smoking fast.

Stay away from Year One, anything you can get there, you can get cheaper elsewhere. Stick with http://www.amesperf.com/, they're the experts on Pontiac. Also try these guys, http://www.goatfarm.com/ for NOS stuff.
depends on what your looking for verses price and quality...most parts are easily had from Goodmark, classic industries,NPD, year one has some exculusive stuff but can be had other places..shop around and do your home work and IMHO "OER" is junk for the most part stay away from any of there weather strip kits most of that stuff is made in china...Steele rubber products are the best on the market for weatherstrip...and looking at the above listed sites will get you to where you want to be
