1911 Receiver Help - Part 2 - sear spring and hammer strut problems

It is a 1911 -- the rattle comes standard -- if you are really bugged by it, take the sear spring leg on the far right (the one that touches the grip safety) and bend it out further to increase its pressure on the grip safety. That should settle the rattle down by keeping the grip safety from rattling.

Some of the best shooting 1911's rattle from the slide rocking from side to side on the frame. As long as the parts are not worn or damaged, and the barrel is tight in the slide when the trigger is pulled, it is not an issue to worry about.
