Need help with stripped screw head

watched my gun smith remove a screw I had messed up...first thing he did was hit the top of the screw with a hammer, smartly!!!! to crack up whatever is/was binding it(in my case it was loctite)....and bang...he just unscrewed it....turned, and looked ay me like I was an alien....

This was the way! I got it! Going to call River Monday to see if they will send a new screw and right side safety lever.

I may even run down to ace hardware to see if they have the screw

A little Vess recommended JB weld will fix that right nice.

Just spoke with Ruger. They're sending me the replacement parts for free. The very nice lady said they would ship out today!
