Something about this 10/22 Charger build just made me thing of a P-40 Warhawk so I had too.

Anyone got a kidd scalloped bolt (silver)? Have a brand new Tactical Innovations Elite22D reciever (olive drab) or cash. Can order one but the ship date gets pushed back every time I check online

Just buy a JWH bolt from either their website or eBay. They are just as good and a bit cheaper. I have multiples of both and they all perform equally. Plus, the JWC bolts are always in stock.

Yeah I ordered two different bolts from them that were in-stock (neither scalloped because the details in them are ugly compared to the kids scalloped). Called to confirm and they were indeed in-stock. Well that was two plus weeks ago. Never shipped out by week two so I canceled due to poor customer service. Two week to ship out an in-stock item is RIDICULOUS. I thank you for the suggestion. I'd just want a nice, detailed scalloped bolt for a pretty cool old school build I'm doing right now. I have my reciever, barrel and trigger. Just need the right bolt and wooden stock to get the look I'm going for.

Oh and stay away from Atomic Engraving. You're chances of hitting the lottery are higher than getting someone on the phone or something shipped out on time

Hmmm. Odd. I ordered two a couple weeks ago and they showed up in about 5 days. Never had a delay when ordering from JWH. They even came with 4 free bolt buffers and two bottles of free lube.

Lucky you! Haha. I think I had bad luck when it comes to shipping. Unless it's from Brownells, Midway or Bud's. It seems everytime I use a "smaller company" I get the short straw. Good looking bolt though!

How deep are the cuts on that bolt?

Best I can tell they are .004 to .005 deep. Definitely deep enough for a good textured feel!

Do you have a revision A or B.

I would suggest you contact Franklin. They will make it right. I'm 100% sold on their customer service!

I talked to them last week and he walked me through a couple of things to try. Very nice folks and I'm pretty sure that we found the problem (safety detent spring).

I got a new one in today and the selector is solid now, I couldn't make it move when dry firing. I hope to get it out to the range in the next few days and test, but I think it's probably GTG.
