If I could figure out how to package cornbread and honey for a retail package I would make a mint! Hot buttered corbread with a heavy drizzle of honey is Heaven on Earth!
My Uncle Fred (RIP) was a bachelor, had cornpone and buttermilk for supper near every day of his adult life........
Tablespoon of lemon juice, 2 tablespoons of honey, 3 tablespoons of bourbon. Heated to mix, then a tablespoon every few minutes. Granny added molasses to hers.
Kids dose only had 2 tablespoons of bourbon.
Still using it today, made some for the wife twice this week.
I was a Yeti hater, then my wife got me 5 Yeti's for my birthday this year. Had to swallow my pride for the sake of a happy marriage......
Still doesn't hold ice better than my cheapo Lifetime cooler.......

Commercially as Clocker said, or use blast chiller/freezer. At home on the counter till it cools, then in the fridge. Especially if it will be consumed next day or two you are fine.
