I only have one Gluck, Gleck? Model 36. Anyhow, bought it on a whim because I prefer single stack pistols with 6 round capacity and thought it'd make a nice beater pack gun.

You are correct, it's a .38/32 Terrier. Based on the SN it's a post-war model.
The 70 over 140 would be the SN of the gun (usually). Could the zero actually be a 6? It's quite possible that Smith $ Wesson mixed up the grips between guns just prior to final finish and packing.
