  1. Look what a found

I love snakes. Even poisonous ones. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk
  2. Do you carry without a round chambered?

gungizmo you need to check FBI stats: the number one place for becoming a "victim" is in your own home. If I'm not mistaken, home invasions are on the rise. I ALWAYS have multiple arms ready, with rounds chambered. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk
  3. Do you carry without a round chambered?

A gun without a chambered round is useless. Might as well not carry anything. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk
  4. Wish They All Could Be Carolina Girls...

Oh, chick is SMOKIN'!!! Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk
  5. Wish They All Could Be Carolina Girls...

This really chaps my a**. I didn't have anything like this when I was in college! Nor did I, while in junior or high school, have hot young teachers that wanted to have sex with me. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk
  6. An efficient way to eliminate the threat

One of my favorite videos! Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk
  7. New Glocks for 2017

@Dirtyj This is fun; Please tell me how they ARE necessary? And yes, manufacturers DO add machining for their own well-being, because they believe (apparently rightly so) that customers as a whole want them, and will sometimes PAY more for the useless, superfluous, extraneous machined...
  8. How much such I pay for a Hog?

Shoot. I thought you were referring to a Harley! Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk
  9. New Glocks for 2017

Me too. Same with 1911 pistols. The front cocking serrations are completely unnecessary and ruin the good looks of a pistol. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk
  10. Riddle me this...

I only have one Gluck, Gleck? Model 36. Anyhow, bought it on a whim because I prefer single stack pistols with 6 round capacity and thought it'd make a nice beater pack gun. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk
  11. Let him live ???

Of course! Snakes are very beneficial. They eat rodents which carry disease and destroy property. Your snake is harmless to humans. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk
  12. Riddle me this...

My mom is Korean. I know what you mean. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk
  13. Gun collection

I know a guy....... He's had several personalized vehicle tags that use Ruger 44 in various forms; he owns around 55 or so .44 Carbines. Amongst other Rugers that is. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk
  14. S & W 4576 Decocker Model

Can this be emailed as a PDF? I'd love to have a copy. Thanks, Hugh Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk
  15. Another "Looking for Info on my S&W revolver" thread

You are correct, it's a .38/32 Terrier. Based on the SN it's a post-war model. The 70 over 140 would be the SN of the gun (usually). Could the zero actually be a 6? It's quite possible that Smith $ Wesson mixed up the grips between guns just prior to final finish and packing. Also, does your...
  16. Here's one for the S&W gurus (help me find a revolver).

Even cooler, if you could find a 64-1 chambered in 357 Magnum! Difficult to find, like the 10-6 in 357 Magnum. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk
  17. S & W 4576 Decocker Model

Very nice acquisition. I have always been a fan of the 3rd generation Smith pistols, especially the 45s. I'd have bought that one in a heartbeat. Awesome that you got 4 mags with it. They're getting hard to find and expensive. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk
  18. Question for ar experts

I wouldn't mess with swapping the buffer if everything works fine. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk
  19. Here's one for the S&W gurus (help me find a revolver).

BTW, I want to give credit for my information to the Standard Catalog of Smith & Wesson 4th Edition. I also have a copy of History of Smith & Wesson and Smith & Wesson 1857-1945. All great books for anyone interested in S&Ws. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk
  20. Here's one for the S&W gurus (help me find a revolver).

Actually, the model 65-1 was introduced in 1972 as a dash 1 because of a request by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol for a heavy barrel 64-1, but chambered in .357 Magnum. Smith actually produced the 64-1 (normally chambered in .38 Special) in the Magnum ctg. for the OHP. To eliminate confusion when...
