If they didn't already have plans in place, it would be a complete disaster if a national emergency were to occur.
Fema already has shown how piss poor the govt is at handling regional problems.
You do know they already have plans in place in case of extraterrestrial contact (both good and bad) right?
Most of that stuff was put in place during vietnam and the cold war when a nuclear strike was a real possibility.
I'd rather know what they plan to do, then have them making stuff up on an hourly basis in the event of a crisis.
