This is the newer version. Older version had a pull tab that you dropped back into the can and tried not to swallow it. How many people can remember the dang pull tab breaking off and drink still sealed up. Fun times

Seems I remember a few being used that way back in the day.
And more than a couple of guys getting cold-cocked with an unopened can of beer (when the cans were still steel).

Back in MY day it would have been a 6 oz. Coke bottle, with the bottling plant on the bottom.
