Wood Burning Stove

Sounds easy enough. But I'd still rather have someone do it who does this type of work. I dont water getting into my walls.

Absolutely, I was just letting you know that if you (y'all) are careful with the vinyl , it won't be that big of a job. You won't need wonder board. You'll prob never match it perfect but they can get it close once you have that section out.

I am not a contractor, but flashing and caulk beneath new hardy board would seal it up on the outside well.

my grandparents had that same wood burning stove in their house. brings back a lot of memories....

I wish I had a spot for this. That looks like a great setup for heating the home and cooking at night, especially if the electricity is out.

Those stoves are HEAVY. I would use a small bobcat (walk behind) to lift it onto a pickup truck or trailer. Lifting them, you typically need a few strong men.
