Wife and I both work at a hospital, I am off now but worked today (she works 12's /snicker) ...........Giving thanks that I have a job!

The Post Office where I work is in operation 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. I was surprised when I looked a the schedule for this week and saw that I got the holiday. This is the first Thanksgiving in about 6 years that I got the day off. Now I am optimistic and hoping to get Christmas.

I worked last and got off at 7am. Came home got some sleep, as in just waking up so I can go back in tonight for another 12 hours. The holiday and overtime pay I will get will be in excess of 40 extra hours for this pay period so Christmas will be finished up with this check!! So it is worth it to me.
