Yeah i hear ya CCW, gotta love that edit feature. Well if there is a NSFW section i can promise that it will not stay wholesome. I just see some of these threads with jokes, pics "Ect." that belong in one and i thought that it may be a good idea.

I edited it, nothing was removed, just condensed three posts into one.


If someone wanted to create a "group" under the community tab at the top for nsfw stuff, that would be fine with me.

I think the groups option could be used a lot if people knew about it.

I like the forum the way it is now .................I also know that growth means change alot of the time ....

I also think that Steve an crew do a great job here with the content watching/monitoring.....

OK CCW, I openly apologize for my comment to you. I just saw red when i seen how this thread was being interpreted.

May some one can explain this to me though. How is it that we have 17 people that have voted no for a NSFW section, but not one single comment on the (chicks with guns) thread and its labeled probably NSFW ?

Seems a little ironic and hypocritical that its alright to have that, but the very mention of starting an NSFW section and all of a sudden we have gone to being a porn site.

It seems like a little bit here and there is ok with everyone, just like a profanity here and there usually goes without complaint.

I guess people's thinking is if we have an NSFW section, then that will bring in more NSFW content.

It's like an NSFW thread here and there pushes the boundary of the rules a little bit, which is OK every once in a while. But if you have an NSFW section, that pushes the boundaries out a lot farther to start with, so content that pushes those boundaries will start to show up.

Like when the speed limit is 45 everyone goes 60, but when it is 75 people go 90.

Hope some of that makes sense.

I will take a stab at it.

See, when you have a thread titled "Chicks with guns", it wreaks of common sense. I mean, most people know what is inside the thread so they can safely steer around it. On the other hand, creating a section just for NSFW lays a subtle message that I personally don't think this particular forum has a flavor for. Again, thats just my opinion. It's not holy, righteous or the only way.
