Where is the best place to recycle a lead shower pan

Removed a 48 x 34” lead shower pan today. It weight about 60 pounds. Where’s the best place to recycle it near Cumming?

Seriously, those old shower pans are usually really soft, close to pure lead. They can be alloyed with linotype or wheel weights to produce decent bullets. I assume you aren’t a caster. List under free, somebody will gladly take it off your hands.

I picked one up about a year ago and cut it up into pieces small enough to put in a couple of Home Depot buckets. I haven’t casted bullets in a while but good to have that backup if I ever need.

Just look up for a recycling center in your area, it’s pretty easy…or list the lead in the reloading site, someone would buy it..if I didn’t have so much lead I would, what kind of a deal do u want to make?

I'd be interested in this. Don't hurt to have more downrigger weights on the boat.

I will take it, it also makes good ballast for sailboats.

Well if its not becoming bullets or ballast, Alpharetta metals. Hembree rd. I recently took a pallet of batteries. Had to bargain a little but got paid fairly.
