my favorite is a marlin leaver action , mines a 35 caliber

this times a thousand. if you can't see no more than 100 yards from your stand this is the perfect rifle

Yea, I did too! Mine gets a lot of grief but would not swap my 742 W/M 30.06 for any of them and have used it since 1974 and have tried others but always go back.
