What's your favorite deer rifle brand?

i like my cheap old Remington 700 with synthetic stock. Plenty accurate for the max 150 yard shot around here. Tough - don't mind if it gets wet. Cheap - I think I'd pucker up in i pulled a $2000 Weatherby through a briar patch. The ugly black Remy is a hunting tool and has put them down year after year!
My two go-to guns aren't there - Marlin and Ruger...Not going to beat the 336 or M77 in a .30 caliber...the 30-30 and 30-06 have killed more deer in american history for a reason...seems a shame to leave these two brands to "other" while throwing up some of the stuff on the main list...
I hunt with a Marlin 44mag now, But you also cant beat the 336 35 the 44 and the 35 will clear thick brush.
But the 30 30 gets the job done aswell, as most shots in GA are not long shots.

My 100 ATR is very accurate, shoots anything thrown down the pipe, and since it doesn't cost an arm & leg, I don't care if it rains, goes through briars or gets scrapes on it. I look at it like a tool..
From when I sighted it in, 100 yrd, using a fence post.
