I use to shoot 3D competitions when I was younger until my shoulder gave up the ghost after firing 500+ shots a day in practice. Now I use a cross bow.

I was actually very surprised that this still wasn't the law a couple of years ago. Personally, I say man up and tie a bowie knife to a stick and jump out of a tree onto whatever you are hunting...but maybe I watch too much Rambo.

I've never took a deer with a crossbow but to me there's no bigger triumph than laying one down with a compound
