What is up with folks paying a gunsmith to clean their guns?!

My normal fee is $50 for handguns and $100 for long guns. Usually includes running them, or parts of them, through the ultrasonic tank. I don't wanna do it, so I price it accordingly.
The time I spend cleaning guns is time I can't be doing Armorer/gunsmith work. I have to price it so, or it wouldn't make any sense for me to do it.
The fluid I use for the ultrasonic tank ain't cheap. Cheaper fluids run a risk of damaging aluminum or polymer, so I use pricier stuff.
I clean my own guns because I am thrifty and I want to learn how they operate.

I don't see a problem with paying someone to clean your gun if you don't want to.

Never get high off your own supply. Sniffing that hoppes number 9 are we?Dang, sounds like a business to get into. I like cleaning guns way more than shooting them.
People now pay other people to bring trash food from Taco Bell and Burger King to them so their lazy asses don’t have to move off the couch. I guess paying someone to clean your gun is the next step in the evolution of this “can’t do nuthin’” society.
I call cleaning part of firearm break in. It smooths out the rough surfaces. Especially on my 1911s. I wouldn't trust someone else to clean my coveted 1911s though. Afraid they might leave an idiot mark.
