What did you do to better your prep today?

This is revisiting a post I saw at one point but have not seen for a while. It got me motivated on what I knew I needed to get done and on things I hadn't thought of after reading some other posts. So let's get it started...

Today I tilled a new area that gets a lot of sun on my land, my girl then mixed in the compost, rabbit turd and covered it with some wheat straw in preparation for spring.

Yesterday was way cooler tho... I finally built and internally nested my first Faraday cage. Solid aluminum Pelican/Hardigg style. Hardcore.

I bought some ammo 2 day's ago. I spend my extra $ as I have it spend. About once a week I spend it on preparing.

As cool as farady cages are, how will you use this for prep? Protect against emps maybe?

This week:

1. Added to food storage, hygiene supplies; chased naughty child out of food storage for pillaging favorite canned stuff
2. Added to battery stockpile
2. Shopped for house/land - still looking
3. Will be buying firearms supplies this evening, mainly to restock on range ammo
4. Watching Europe's banking circus very closely

Hoping to close the deal on a SW radio this weekend (high quality 1950's tube radio, rebuilt/refurbished).

The faraday cage sounds great. Yep - should protect against light/moderate EMP or solar events if it's constructed correctly.

I figure when all food is exhausted I will be able to out last everyone by atleast a month.
