Wells Fargo Suspends Credit lines ?

Appears they're in some type of financial crisis. Doing away with personal lines of credit. I have a cd they're, since it was Wachovia and first atl. I wonder how much of a hit I'd take if I cashed it out. I renew every 5 years and I'm half way into it.
Depends on the terms on the cd. Usually just lose interest on the last compounding period. Mine are 1 year with interest paid quarterly, so 3 months interest at .1% is… not worth worrying about.

Yeah not really worth having the cd, but I've had them so long I just kept renewing.

You might as well have it in cash, stuck somewhere in the back of your gun safe. Buy some GA Power stock, i.e. Southern Company. They're not going anywhere. Easy to buy and sell through their dividend reinvestment plan. No broker, all online. Highly regulated industry equals very safe investment. 4.30% yield.
