The way I see it, I've had worse....but it dosent hurt to look at the inspection grade at every restaurant ya walk into. That's what I do. It's a habit. Of course all the grease, soot, oil, asbestos from clutch and brakes I've consumed over the decades will probably do more damage than mold in a ice machine !
It is a good observation though about your immune system. If you don't ingest SMALL AMOUNTS of stuff, your going to be more apt to get sick than if you do. Gotta build it up somehow.
