WAR upper vs Piston for full auto use?

The piston option will keep all the heat off the bolt and keep it a lot cleaner in the receiver area so in theory it should allow for more rounds between cleanings. However there is some validity in the thought of the less moving parts the better for reliability. Basically what I am saying is I can't give a definite on which is better but just giving you some food for thought.

Why not get both, I got both Piston driven ARs and DI ARs.

I will say my ACR suppressed is great! Also its piston driven and stays so much cleaner then my DI 300 Blackout.

But is something breaks on my DI AR I can easily replace it or find new parts.

I don't have autos; but I like shooting the pistons better suppressed just to keep gas and crap out of my face. I have 3 Adams Arms (2 5.56, 1 308) and really like them. Clean up is a bore snake and a wipe of the piston system when I feel like it. I guess I should get a couple of extra bolt springs just in case.
