After 2hours last night and 1.5 hours this morning I finally convinced them they can sell an FFL holder guns without a background check

I managed to score a Weatherby Deluxe in 30/06 for $349 (plus gubment fee). Might I say this is an exquisite piece. High gloss "A" grade Turskish walnut, glossy blued finish, 0.99" 3-shot guarantee at 100 yds. Thanks for the tip, I'm thrilled. It'll have a Leupold on it as soon as I get bases/rings.

They are inot going to stop firearms. I spoke with the manager when I bought one yesterday. The weatherbys were not selling well. The Savages axis and similar guns sell because you can get them for 250.00 or so. Once you get above 325 and up the rifles just sit. My local Walmart my local Walmart has had a Henry large caliber in the case for over a year.
