I've been eyeing the kel sub 9mm folding deally..very cool little set up. My concern would be if the 9mm round gets enough power out of a carbine lenght, or any long barrel..I have not really looked into it yet so I don't know..

I like the lever carbine idea. Wouldn't it be great to see a front page photo of a couple of dead Jihadist with a Citizen armed with a lever gun standing over them.

Well, even a cheap AR is >$400. My Marlins are <$250. I have to recognize that no matter what I try to do to secure it, theft is still a possibility. And if it stolen, I'd rather a $200 hunting gun be in the hands of a thief who will probably try to pawn it, than a $450+ black rifle that a criminal will be more likely to use in a crime and ADD to t liberal gun-hate propaganda.

I like the idea of ammo and mag interchangeability between my handgun and long gun.

Just Right Carbine. It takes Glock 19 and 17 mags and is deadly to 100 yards. Further with a little hold over. Shoots about 2 MOA. I'm eventually going to SBR it.
