Value of Remington sportsman 58

It is is very condition except for the area where the owner used sandpaper of light steel wool to take off I believe rust on the barrel. I am helping the widow get rid of these guns, so any real help would be much appreciated. It only upload 12 pics, if you need more just text me at (678) 755-1256 and I can get you more pictures. Thanks for your help in helping me find out what this is worth.

That IS a 16 gauge. I've never seen anything other than 12's in-person. My Father's Sportsman 58 was the first real gun I ever shot. I still own it and will eventually pass it down to my Godson.
 
I think it's worth more than 350. If it was a 12 gauge then 350 would be a good price but since it's a 16 gauge I truly believe it's worth a good bit more than that. Maybe 600 or so would be what I would think it would go for.
