Night hunting is illegal in many states with a few exceptions. Georgia is a good state. It's just too much fun! My first night hunt I shot a opossum at age 8 or 9. I have a story about being 16 years old, riding two up on a motorcycle, a .22, light and burlap bag of about 15 coons several weighing in at 20+ lbs. during a slight rain shower.

Got that right. I'm going to hate leaving good old Georgia when the time comes to settle in at Paris Island. I'll be sure to let everyone know how the hunt goes. It's supposed to be a rainy weekend down here. Hopefully we don't have to scrub the trip.

Rain softens the woods, much easier to still/stalk hunt. For a Marine if it ain't raining it ain't training. Looking forward to good pics of the hunt.
