I an still proud to have served when I did. I got out in 91' just before "don't ask don't tell."I’m sure the “New Army” will have a non-gender specific celebration with a rainbow cake and praise their diversity all the while excluding any mention of those that have served in the Old Army like my wife, my Dad and many friends.
I served in the Old Navy and feel the same way towards to “New Navy”.
