As I typed the crime I thought it would be, it didnt make any sense at all. I thought it would be a felony to knowingly transfer ammo to a felon or someone not eligible to have guns and ammo.

Wow...I'd be livid! I'm sure you will at least get your money back...somebody either got a nice surprise or is frantically calling the police because a strange package full of deadly bullets was delivered to them.

Since you are not the shipper, FM will have to file a lost package claim with UPS. This could take up to 2 weeks before they resolve the issue. FM may not ship a replacement until the claim is resolved.

As far as the "crime," I think the OP is saying what if he ordered the ammo and changed the shipping address so that it would go to a prohibited person - I imagine that might be a crime and I think he was concerned that this accident might be interpreted that way.

UPS once delivered my ammo shipment from ammo2go to a business up the street and got a signature...
i was lucky enough that the business was "HONEST" they tracked me down .
I worked for a company for 10years that got bought by UPS... I have EARNED the right to call them RETARDED !
