The most nefarious part of all this is that the existing legal owners aren't grandfathered in, they need to basically admit guilt to a defacto ex post facto offense, where _if_ the form isn't processed in time, date -X ,there's an enforcement action taken. On your dumbness, and they have all the internet big talk to back that up, no?

There are a ton of good YouTube gun lawyer videos explaining all the issues and why going along with the amnesty is a huge trap for us in multiple ways.
I think its a trap on all kinds of fronts, in that they are basically identifying future opposition if/when things clamp down further on 2A and setting up the football play to take out their most dangerous adversaries on a BS technicality, and do it now.
They understand that the people who have the fight to pick a stand now, will be leadership if/when 2A is threatened more broadly and for real at a future date 10,20 years from now.
Only way out I see is to put in a standard 16+ BBL and no need to tangle with the entire legal mess.
